In collaboration with graphic and exhibit design firm Leslie Stone Associates (LSA), JLJA developed designs for a half dozen gates that will suit the wide variety of entry conditions and park users at Marin County Park's 34 open space preserves. Gates accommodate hikers, bicyclists, universal access, and livestock and horses. Flexible and adaptable to each unique setting while coherent and consistent across the entire network, the gates were designed to be utilitarian, durable, and timeless. In addition to the gates, JLJA, together with LSA, designed kiosks, signage, and trailhead markers that establish a design vocabulary and visual identity for MCPOS's entire network of trail access and entries.
